Refugee Settlement
MCC provides help and support to refugees under the Australian Government Department of Immigration & Citizenship Settlement Grants Programme.
These services are available at no charge to refugees who live in Brisbane, and who have been in Australia for more than 6 months, but less than 5 years.
Some of MCC’s services to refugees are:
- Providing information
- Helping to solve problems
- Introducing refugee families to Australian families
- Referring refugees to other organizations for help
- Going on trips
- Help to find work
