10363NAT Certificate II in Spoken and Written English
The Multicultural Community Centre (MCC) in conjunction with Asian Pacific Institute (RTO No.6153) is currently running the Certificate II in Spoken and Written English (10363NAT).
The Certificate II in Spoken and Written English develops skills for learners to satisfy their own simple everyday transactional and limited social needs in order to empower them to: be able to participate in transactional exchanges such as arranging a service, purchasing a product, joining a library, etc; be able to give and follow spoken instructions such as asking for/giving directions, paying a bill, etc. The course focuses on building the four macro skill areas of English as a Second Language (speaking, listening, reading and writing) giving every learner the opportunity to improve their vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation as they practice their English through a great variety of topics including how to write information and job seeking texts such as resumes and cover letters.
After achieving the Certificate II in Spoken and Written English, candidates may progress into further vocational training such as Certificate III in Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care.
* Fee-Free for eligible participants only. This Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) project is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government
