What a great way to end a most successful, productive year: the festival of Christmas! Instead of winding down and even running out of steam because of our work exertions in environments that can produce many challenges, we at MCC are rev’ing up to welcome a celebration observed by so many people, a festive time of good will to all people in multicultural Australia. And for some of us, it is the celebration of the true reason for the season, the birth of Jesus, Prince of Peace, Love, Hope and Joy. Thus, even as families and friends from different faiths gather together in loving fellowship, let it also be a time of remembering our fellow men at home and in other lands, who may not be as fortunate as us. The end of the year paradoxically symbolizes the start of a new one, so when 2020 dawns, let us be determined to make a difference in the lives of those who unfortunately, do not share in our blessings. Let MCC’s motto prevail: ‘Transforming Lives and Changing Destinies’. Let us share that love, hope and joy with our fellow beings in many tangible, practical ways. May God’s Peace reign! We wish you all, a blessed Christmas, and a prosperous New Year.
