What happened in May?
MCC's Director (Volunteer) Mrs. Jeannie Mok OAM attended the farewell reception for Mr. Duncan Pegg MP who has stepped down from office due to health reasons. Mr. Duncan Pegg has always been a great supporter of the work of MCC. Mrs. Mok was  among many VIP guests who also attended this reception such as the QLD Premier Anastacia Palaszczuk, Minister for Employment and Small Business Hon. Di Farmer, Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and many other leaders.
MCC Rekon-Set For Life Program
Among the many services that MCC provides to our communities, it also runs an amazing program dedicated to our younger generation of people from all walks of life in the Logan area. MCC's 'Rekon-Set for Life' Program provides a range of cultural/sporting activities after school, and helps to motivate our younger generation to pursue a career pathway that will lead them to success. On the 13th of May, our team including MCC's Director (Volunteer) Mrs. Jeannie Mok OAM, set out to Yarabilba to meet over 160 young people. As usual, it was an amazing turn out and everyone enjoyed food and drinks afterwards.
