Coming Soon: Technicolour Christmas Show & Night Market

A great time for the family to get together and celebrate this festive season! There’ll be a wonderful Christmas Musical Show, food trucks, Christmas market, so much more so bring your friends, families and neighbours along!

Ongoing: Developing & Growing Small Business Program

2 more workshops for Stream 1 participants (without business experience) were conducted in November. Stream 2 participants (small business owners) received their first coaching session where they were taken through a SWOT analysis of this businesses.

All participants will also be involved in setting up and preparing stalls in 3 market events to practice business skills learnt. The first event will be the Christmas Show and Night Market on 9 December 2017.

Want to get into a career in disability/aged care? Get qualified to work as an Assistant in Nursing, Personal Care Assistant, Community Support Worker or Home Care Assistant.

The next course is scheduled from 23 January to 23 May 2018 and will be held at 23 Foster St, Newmarket.

No Fees for Australian/New Zealand citizens, Permanent Residents or Temporary Residents with the necessary visa and work permits on a pathway to permanent residency. Other conditions apply.

Updates from November

Basic Car Maintenance Course Part 2

Part 2 of the workshop on how to check oil, filter, all fluids, tire pressure, belts, hoses, brakes, leaks, etc was held on Friday 24 November.

An information session run by Carers QLD in conjunction with MCC under the Settlement Services program funded by the Department of Social Services.

End of Term: English Conversation Club Lunch

The English Conversation Club members gathered for a delicious pot-luck lunch to celebrate the end of the school term. The final lesson for the year will end on 7 December. Lessons will resume on 25 January 2018.
