MCC 2021 GRADUATION
After disruptions caused by COVID-19 in 2020, MCC was able to host a COVID Safe Graduation ceremony on the 22nd of July 2021. This year we combined two years of graduates, a total of 249 graduates who studied the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability in Ageing) or had participated in the Work Skills Traineeship Program while undergoing a Certificate I in Business. Although not all of our  graduates were able to attend due to work commitments, we did have 94 graduates who were able to take leave from work and attend their graduation. It was a grand day as it was great to see our students again and find out where their paths had led them after completing their Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) funded training.

We had some very important guests attend our Graduation, Hon. Di Farmer MP, Mr. Jimmy Sullivan MP, Mr. John-Paul Langbroek MP, Senator Paul Scarr, Dr. Christian Rowan MP, Lady Mayoress Nina Schinner, Councillor Kim Marx, Deputy Consul General for PRC Zhou Li and many Community Leaders. It was a grand celebration despite all the challenges encountered during this pandemic. Thank you to MCC's Director (Volunteer)  Mrs. Jeannie Mok OAM for the amazing work she continues to do for our community.
